The line "Die young and save yourself" is sort of telling us that values and morals have gone to shit in society. It is also about the corruption of innocence. The girl (symbolic of evil) is forcing the guy (symbolic of innocence and good) to betray his values. Low culture has replaced higher culture in the past century. |
