I think this song is about a man that has died. He says the "winter" of his life has come, meaning that the end of his life has come, as winter is the end of the year. He is saying that he is the dust in the wind, the stars in the sky and the wind in the trees. In other words, his spirit will live forever. This is one of the few songs that nearly made me cry when I first heard it. |
