| This song is great. I think it's sort of their new style, along with Clocks. Really nice, particularly the way he sings the verses, and the syncopated bit is fantastic. Obviously it doesn't beat Clocks but one of my favourites from Coldplay!! | |

I love this song so much. I must have listened to it 200 times, and it's still good!! Has anyone heard Crests of Waves from the EP? That's pretty good too. |

| And by the way, the theory about the anorexic asian girl is just sick. How do you come up with these things? Can't you just accept it is a normal love song with lyrics about love? What is WRONG with you people?? | |

Holy moly! There are some weird theories on here. Here are a few that I noticed: 1. It's about a necrophiliac? Come on, get some freakin therapy. The girl was yellow? Ech ... 2. It's about drug addiction? You people seem to think every song is about drug addiction. No Chris Martin did not say it was about heroin. Get a life. 3. It's about God. Yes, I've heard this theory before. It does make sense, and kind of applies to most Coldplay songs. You can visit www.thechurchofchrismartin.com to see some people who take that idea way too far. I don't think it matters what it's about. It's just a cool song. |

theRick is right, I think. This song is about more than a relationship - it could mean anything at all, anything you apply it to. But essentially it's about struggling and tension, but then release, going "home, home, where i wanted to go". Let me say, whatever it means, it's a great song. I didn't always like this song, then a few months ago it just clicked. I must have listened to it hundreds of times. I play four instruments, I've done ethnomusicology at uni, I've heard a lot of different music ... but nothing in the whole world does it for me like this song. It really defies description. It's incredibly moving, without being soppy or emotional. This is what music should be about. I just love it! |
