It's about not being able to go thru life without drugs, in my opinion. Not because it's an addiction, which it is, but because that person isn't able to deal with life and the problems it brings without the comfort of his drugs. That's how I see it anyway. |

Those lyrics aren't completely correct. But I never saw this as about fucking a corpse. I always assumed Cassie was still alive but just dead inside. Due to somewhat extreme physical abuse. |

I always thought of the 'As we speak, we turn to stone' part of the lyrics as - As we discuss things more and more, instead of solving them we gradually feel less and thus become lifeless - stone. But yeah, that's just me probably :) |
