Jimmy is right, I agree. Damn Sheffield. It's cool when they performed this live (check out Live Killers). They bleeped out part of the intro, when they called him "a real motherf***er of a gentleman". Good rock song and a good opener to one of Queen's most lavish and extravagant albums. |

I believe it was written for Highlander too. I mean, the lyrics, the album it appeared on, which doubled as the soundtrack to Highlander. Did you know that this is not the original version of the song? Roger had a different idea for the song (more of a dark and serious idea), but Freddie and the others played with it, and it became the song that we know and love today. All things considered, A Kind Of Magic is one of Queen's most innovative songs, and is definitely receiving the recognition that it deserves. |
