Andrew wrote and sang this song so beautifully. He started the song with something hideous (murder) and wrote about it from a point of view most everyone fails to understand. In an interview, he actually said it is about a woman killer her husband.. not suicide or a woman killer her father.
I love, like in every other SoCo song, how he puts so much emotion into every note and lyrics. If you go to mtv.com, you can watch a video of him playing/singing this acoustically, and it's amazing. |

The chorus really reminds me of the Beatles. Hm.
Anyway, I like this song. It has a very different sound. The whole album is really great, and there are better songs, but this one isn't bad at all. |

At first, I thought this song might be about Elliott's feelings toward his stardom, and he's talking to his fans, or the people listening to his music. You know, with the line about "I belong in your zoo," like he's only there for entertainment, and to him "being here just wasn't that much fun."
But the rest of the song doesn't really agree with that interpretation, and I think mfluder2676 did a very good job interpreting it. I think you're probably exactly right. |

This song is just amazing. I heard it for the first time yesterday, which sucks because it's much older [couple years] and I could have enjoyed it that much longer, had I heard it earlier. Oh well. Anyway, SoCo nailed this song. Andrew's voice and lyrics are better than anything I've come across in a long, long time.

I love this song. It's so full of passion. It's prideful, but yet very modest, if that makes any sense. VERY real. That's what I love about Tupac. Whether it's a song like Unconditional Love or I Get Around, it's always real. RIP Tupac. |
