Anyhoo, I think it's way cool how they made the dong gender-neutral, so we can all join in with the romance. Sigh, this song makes me feel sad and happy all at the same time... songs like that are the best, you see.

Loads of 'straight' people have same-sex crushes as teenagers at highschool, so I reckon that if Brandon isn't actually bisexual then he just had a crush on this boy at school.
I think the "hey shut up" may be the boy with the crush talking to himself - because it's a bit scary to suddenly find yourself attracted to another guy , so he's like trying to switch his feelings off/telling them to "shut up" because they're scaring him. |
