Operation Ivy – Bankshot Lyrics 21 years ago
they forgot the laughing, pickitup's and the "Great song!"s. There's no real point to this song, but I could listen to this song all day.

This song is the greatest thing to happen to Christmas since I got Ninja Turtles for presents.

Against Me! – Those Anarcho Punks Are Mysterious... Lyrics 21 years ago
The song is definitly great, which ever version you listen to. I definitly think the ending is more of a question to their fans. "Well, do you really fucking get it?" I think of it as a way of asking "We like the fact that you support us, but do you have any damn clue what where singing about or trying to do?"

Against Me! – Reinventing Axl Rose Lyrics 21 years ago
This is one of the greatest song I've ever listened to. Hell, just the name makes me love it. I'm attempting to start a band and would love nothing more to live by this song. Just sucks 'cause I don't think I can manage just playing for plate of food and place to rest, but apparently Against Me! has and if that's not enough to earn your respect, not much is.

Dead Kennedys – MTV - Get Off The Air Lyrics 21 years ago
Since their seems to be so many people here who refuse to speak of the song but get in their own personal judging fights, - I'm 16, I'm only in High School, I dye my hair, but do not shave it or spike it in any anti-societal way, I'm bisexual, I'm attempting vegetarianism, I've never once in my life drawn an anarchy sign, I do not support MTV or Hot Topic, I often steal from Hot Topic, not in an effort to be cool, but sometimes they have a shirt I want (they had a Black Flag shirt, which blew my mind. I had to get it.) but I don't make any effort to constantly remind people of my hatred for them, and I love Dead Kennedys and Bad Religion - I was just hoping someone could fill me in on my stereotype.

Ending all sarcasm, the song is OBVIOUSLY against MTV by the name and, my personal favorite live, "You've turned rock and roll rebellion into Pat Boone sedation," but the song also mocks all forms of media and how they'll attempt to minipulate things to their advantage.
