Why is it the second a bunch of dumb easily influenced rednecks hear somethign involving guns or anything that may contain a connotation that could loosely be based on soldiers or anything they turn to pop culture or the news to try and find a solution . Then the artists actual thoughts come to light and they still babble about it. It really goes to show how much people fucking listen. You are def right, you're open to your interp. but.. your interp. is WRONG. HA. I don't give a shit what people think the song is about. I want to know the actual meaning from the artist. By the way, I'm surprised half you idiots didn't equate this song to a relationship gone bad or love in general, that is usually what it's about. I really HATE it when people give a band shit for trying something new. In all honesty, this song sounds WAY more like Slipknot (war style drums badump ba dump dum dumm) Hell, even the way he sings sounds like SlipK. Deftones? Barely, barely. But yea, never scold a band for trying something new. I mean old AOF was ok...but this new record BLOWS IT AWAY it's producing etc is like 100 x better than the old albums... So, if they never progressed... they would still have horrible production and no sucess and prolly cease to be. =) |

everyone always assumes these songs are about relationships because they are a clusterfuck, anywho, this also could be about a family member or loved one, perhaps disabled? "beg ...take Care of things ...smile @ thoughts ... failing " perhaps take care of life support style duties, and hoping they could die and be happier? etc etc.... i had family health problems thats prolly why i interpret that instead of relationships.... |

haha, i could have sworn it was about a cult, refrences of holy cows, stink like some cults that dont shower, also refrences to comets (drinking kool-aid laced with cyanide or whatever) usually interviews tell the real meaning and ive seen some people bs, haha oh well, this meaning almost correlates a bit more with the video, though nothing really does, one of my favorite videos ever! |
