just as a friend of mine said to me, this sounds a lot like me...or what i could be like, rather. this song seems much like she wanted to get married as she is intrigued by the tradition of matrimoney, but once she is she feels trapped and must get out. and then taking her back is what she wants him to do...she wants to go back to being married and "tied down". if any part of this song is really me it would be this: "Do you believe you'll marry me? You might be the one to marry me." and yes that line is from inflatable. it's from "you're so pretty in white, pretty when you're faithful" |
