I love this song!!! I think its about him being happy somewhere but wishing his love was there to share in the moment with him. Also, I think this part I lay my head unto the sand the sky resembles a backlit canopy with holes punched in it I'm counting UFO's, I signal them with my lighter and in this moment I am happy, happy... is about smoking, getting high. I mean, laying on your back "signaling" ufos with the lighter... I just see that as him lighting a bowl and describing it in a poetic way... |
