nah coo-leclair.. ok yes, robert smith lead singer of the cure. blah blah blah...i think(remember im not saying your opinion is wrong, im just voicing mine)...that this song is about a vampire and wondering whether or not (judging by the chorus) his/her loved one will still love him/her..... as he says "im an Anne Rice novel come to life" - note that anne rice is regarded as an amazing vampire novel writer-.... "i cant hide the monster anymore", is possibly meaning that he cant hide that he is a vampire anymore (of course the monster being the other side of him/her which is the vampire....."one can only feel desolate for so long"( desolate means Devoid of inhabitants...)..."Until one starts to change"(referring to him/her becoming the vampire)..."Into something the mirror doesn't recognize"(which is talking about him/her being a vampire and as most of us know when a vampire is shown standing infront of a mirror he/she will not have a reflection of themself, thus the lyric something the mirror doesnt recognize makes perfect sense.)..."i metamorphisize" meaning he/she changes..... ahh im too lazy to do anymore...tell me what you think eh? |

The funny thing isthat i love this song? i also like buried myself alive... i just made that up randomlly see if i could get a reaction sure it was stupid..but i dont. care....hahah right ... but i find half of the used is garbage and half of S.O.T.Y. stuff is crap as well... But Senses Fail.....AWESOME just bought their cd... its great... i have the used cd and am diasppointed....very...I caught fire. Im a Fake...Lunacy Fringe..Take it away...another cd im impressed by is Siren Song of the Counter Culture.. check it out.. |

well then..... the used is horrible... thrice is the way to go... I think the singer from the used and from billy talent for that matter had serious problems when they were children.... this song reminds you of glassjaw? glassjaw is horrible... in addition the singer from the used doesnt know how to scream at all... he also has the worst lyrics i have ever heard.. as i said go to thrice.... listen to their lyrics... hahahha at least they mean something. In love and Death has to be the worst out right now besides sum 41:chuck. Spend your money on something meaningfull such as S.O.T.Y. or Thrice, their cd's are worth it. The arent mainstream trash like the used who sell themselves out. Thrice and S.O.T.Y. are still underground. They arent sell-outs like some bands.. cough cough.. The UsEd?!~ maybe. i dont know how people listen to his horrid voice. i dont care if you read this or not.....but my opinion is that the used have horrible lyrics, singers, and songs. I will give them credit for their lead guitarist though. and their bassist.:) |
