Better Than Ezra – Wallflower Lyrics 21 years ago
"And you're climbing up a mountainside,
Well they say it hurts your ears when they pop,
That's the price you pay now,
For being on top."

I suppose that lines should explain it all. For me its more like the singer was singing about the highs and lows of being someone prominent, in the girl's case as a "...an actress, And a painter on the side."

Better Than Ezra – Under You Lyrics 21 years ago
"Under you, I feel your blood flowing out slowly.
Under you, let go completely feeling you take over me"

I was just wondering, after listening to that part, maybe could it be that the guy had actually witnessed the girl's death?

Since after that he swore seeing her "...standing on a sidewalk, in a restaurant, from a taxi cab passing."

Sound to me like this guy had somekind of trauma.

I think.
