The Clear reference to bottles and hangovers leads me to believe that it's about drowning issues with alcohol. I think the song's about Anthony's problems with himself. He's a great song writer and seems to rely mostly on introspection. I bayside is one of my new favorites because of this song. |

Loaded gun is a possible reference to junk ripe with sperm.
The needle jabbing the womb dry, a method of aborting a fetus.
This boy is a curse....yeah. That's what I'm thinking. Puciatto seems to sing a lot about women. |

I think the songs explains the feelings of a fling, and damaging choices made under the circumstances of lust.
It isn't love for sex or sex for love at all. If you have sex with someone in under the time span of 2 weeks, your dependent on attention not love. She was a wreck, he had a jonze for her. He felt bad and wanted to feel something, anything for her but he was numb.

I love this song. This is the song that opened my eyes to these 5, now 4 guys who rock with all of their heart in a way only they can. Sincerity goes a long way in my book, and PtW is without a doubt the most sincere band out now, aside from Henry Rollins. I digress, Apathy is a cold body is song that can describe the blackest of moods to (even maybe if you're as intense as I am) lightest of moods. Very Morissey, very cool. PtW is amazing. Come back to the states soon. |

Who cares what it is about. Seriously, PtW doesn't cater to the idea that their stuff is deeper and any more meaningful than what's at YOUR face value. Their ideaology is what you see is what you get. Take it for what it is, a relapse into TfR, meaning a mroe hardcore song. I personally love Opposite of December, but I do believe that Ycby is a great leap from TfR. They've gotten better with this album, it's a more accomplished piece than its predecessors, but it lacks the anger and sense of longing the previous albums had been imbued with. |
