I just saw Green Day in concert 2 days ago and right before they played this song Bille Joe was like this song is against all authority. This song is anti-war. So I guess that's what this song is all about.

Yea this song is definitely about their singer's ex-girlfriend. I just got back from seeing them, New Found Glory, and Green Day and before they played this song their singer goes "I wrote this song about my ex-girlfriend who complained WAAAAAY too much." So yea just thought I'd put that in here.
