I'm pretty sure that this song is about some stupid junkie dealer. He was barely alive (as in he looked like he could just die at anytime, trust me, junkies can look like that). He kept shootin' up and shootin' up. He thought the streets were his cause he was a big bad dealer. Then one day he OD'ed, or went to rehab. All that shit didn't matter anymore. I'm guessing more to him dying.
I picture brad sitting with him and Johnny going "Hey I'm gonna quit" and Brad, nodding off, saying "Yeah one day this shit won't matter. We're gonna overcome it" |
