and in defending myself, im going to ask you to look up a little where i said.."wait, scratch the right winger-stuff." but also those "jihads" (i think its the right word for holy war), they are because of religion. i do find religion fascinating, and i do see your point. but i also do believe in any religion, because it is brainwashing, basically. everyone in my school (a public school) is some form of christian, as well as the teachers, so call it a personal feud, but i have been forced to listen to chapters from the bible in a so called history lesson. it is horrible, seeing all these people i know that have generally open minds, and fairly liberal tounges admit they are christian/republican. i have come to accept differences in my last semester at this school, but i still pity these kids whose parents forced them to go to church since birth, and have therefore not known a different lifestyle. i admit, i used to believe in god, and pray nightly, but i discovered such bands as dimmu borgir, and they have helped me (not forced me) to open my mind. i ask of you to not blame the music, as it was not entirely that, but also my parents non-religious lifestyle, and many other factors. now i know there will be some who call this brainwashing, but if they truly see my plight, and the fact that i truly believe what i belive, not what my music/family believe, they will understand. as for the quiffgay, i am sorry, for i was extremely pissed, for my girlfriend of 6 months had just broken up with me. i hope you guys see my point. |
