At the start, you can hear planes taking off and news coverage in the background. This song is basically about the tighting of freedom of speech under laws like the Patriot Act. He's basically saying how white middle-class liberal Americans (the same ones who would have tiraded against Eminem) now feel the same anger against censorship as rap artists have felt for a long time now. |

I think amber is more than likely a reference to liqor. The fact that it is "sweet" amber makes me think that its maybe refering to Southern Comfort or someting like it. |

yea, and what about the line "NEEDLEWORK the way" an obvious reference to heroin? "crumbling away" could be a double meaning refering to the way in which certain drugs crumble when heated. "deaths construction"- a reference to elaborate drug preparations perhaps? |
