anyways, onto the song:

I think it's about a woman, who is older than him, and their relationship. and then one day, she decided to break it off...maybe because she feel she needs someone older or something else, I don't know. I just really get the feeling it's about an older person. the end of the song he is bitter about it & says how he'll still remember this girl by writing a song about her. |

The girl is obviously killing him, and I think he's saying that there's no use in trying because he gets nowhere or worse than nowhere-death. she's hanging him. she doesn't seem to care either, she'd let him die so she doesn't get dirty. she doesn't care about him & turns things into a big production. |

I think this song might be one of those metaphorical songs Chris tends to write. I think it might be referring to life. there's some suicidal references in the song too... maybe he's writing it from a friend's point of view instead of his own. |
