First off I'd like to start out by saying that arguing on the internet is like winning the gold medal at the special olympics...you may win but your still retarted. Trust me I'm an avid battler on the internet and yeah it seems like fun but then its like, wow, gay... Getting back to the song...WHO CARES!!! ITS AN AWESOME SONG AND IF YOU WANNA ARGUE OVER WHAT A SONG MEANS TO SOMEONE THEN I'LL FUCKING RAPE YOUR FACE WITH A BRICK!!! What does it say above the box in which you wrote your garbage anyway? "What does this song mean to you?" Not "Silly asshole, argue about something pointless on a lyrics page" Shut Up... I have no problem with people expressing what they feel about something but when you go and bash someone elses feelings about it ESPECIALLY music, then I take it personally. Music is about self expression. From the riff of the guitar, to the slam of the stick on the snare, to the strum of the bass to the wild screams of the singer, each person has put in their part to the song. So if you go out and try and find one meaning to a song then, my friend, you should jam pens into your ears because you don't deserve to listen to music...I'm done with my running of the 400 meter drool cup dash... |

I just love it cause its the first song you hear off the album that says CHECK THIS SHIT OUT!!! WE'RE BACK AND HEAVIER THAN BEFORE!!! I mean with an opening with some sweet ass low bass from Joe and that kick ass feedback from Pete at the start followed by the awesome "TOUCH!!!", you can't help but love this song. I'm not usually one who goes out and immediatly looks for a meaning in a song and this one I didn't even try. I was too busy breaking down parts and trying to figure out how Sam makes it look so easy when he bangs away on his drums. But now we're up to the best part of the song. NOW SATURATE!!! I MEAN HOW FREAKING BADASS IS THAT!? yeah its cool.... I'm seeing them in a month...LOVE ME....I mean it :-D |

Fuckin amazing song. No freakin clue what it means but I think its just sayin that Skindred rocks your mom so hard you can't handle them. You won't leave the pit they create cause its so core! I was racing on Underground 2 and this song came on and I was flippin out! Its the only one i listen to on there cause its the only one worth racing to. Tell me that playing the first level of Tony Hawk with playing this song doesn't bring back some amazing memeories. I know it does for me cause this song was always on repeat. But yeah I have to agree with the guy above me. It does seem like they just copied the notes they took that day in physics and turned it into a kick ass song. |

I just think the song totally kicks ass and sounds nothing like the others. However I do believe that the actual sound (everything but the singing) sounds a lot like the Ernies. If you don't know who that is, check them out, totally badass band. They appeared on the first Tony Hawk Pro Skateboarder video game (the only good soundtrack from that series) with the song Here & Now and Cyco Vision. |

I know sometimes songs are written for a specific meaning and that one alone, but I feel that we as listeners should be able to take in and understand music how we want to.
As I was coming home from my old college I was playing this song over and over again (its a 2 hour drive) and just singing it over and over again because it had hit me that the title to this reminded me of a girl that I think I am in love with. I go up to see her all of the time and we can't really let anyone know what we do or say. She knows I love her and she loves me but she has a boyfriend that she isn't sure she doesn't want to be with.
