I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away I keep your photograph; I know it serves me well I wanna hold you high and steal your pain I think this song is about two people who loved each other more then life itself....but couldnt be together cause they fought too much....he says he loves the way she laughs.....he keeps her picture cause it makes him feel good inside.....and they are broken and lonsom being apart.....yet they still cant be together......You've gone away You don't feel me, Anymore.....one or both of them decided that they just cant be with eachother...... The worst is over now And we can breathe again, I want to hold you high You steal my pain, away Theres so much left to learn And no one left to fight, I want to hold you high and steal your pain , He wants to hold her high.....steal her pain.....she is excepting cause she says you hold me high and steal my pain.....but she also says she dosent feel rite or stong enough to keep the relationship going.....no second chances......there is no one left to learn, and no one left to fight......no relationship......she feels like shes broken when shes open......meaning she is showing all her feelings and emotion and she feels broken cause he dosent understand what she is trying to show him......but both with regret in there hearts as the last line continues.......Because i'm broken When i'm lonesome, And I don't feel right When your gone away, They still love one another whether they are together or not and they understand eachother better because of it!.......Please let me know what you think of my interpretation.....this song means alot to me.....and everyone is going to see this song in the way it pretains to there life. |
