metallica's first few cds are thrash, but that doesn't change the fact that they suck and always will suck. that's not the point here though, the point is that if they hadn't made thrash popular, someone else would have, just like if venom hadn't pioneered black metal, someone else would have, there's nothing revolutionary of the genre. |

Venom really ISN'T black metal though, especially by today's standards. Props to them for thinking up a name for a genre... but that's about it. If it wasn't them, it would have been someone else. Much like everyone talks about how metallica created thrash, no they sure didn't i'm sure other bands were doing the same thing at that time, they just got more popular. Kids these days. |

this is definately my favorite cradle song, it sounds so desperate, and it's so well mixed. not to mention all the rad tempo changes. too bad they don't have a disc better than midian. |

i really don't agree that that is what he's saying with the line "and how many chords till this song vomits out real love"
seeing how this is THE most emotional song on the album.
