I think it is a brilliantly written song... The way he uses his voice suggests a conversation i think... the chorus has a different tone than the verses, it could be a crazed ex lover that has shut his/herself off from everything and no matter what anyone says they choose to be depressed. The god abandment idea...great thought, people cry help come get us...and he replies that he doesn't want to help right now... Either way it deals with a being whom draws themselves away from their interaction and emotion away from something, funny how things fit together. |
