| well friends, this one definitly has some "Make Yourself Sound", and its really fun and awesome just the same. Though it was first released on the "Stealth" movie OST. I think all you guys all have good interpretations for this song. but here's what i think... the song is post break up, or end of a relationship. I think this cuz i can relate (indirectly) to the song. the narrator has ended the relationship, but now feels guilty, alone and longs for their companion's return. within the song this longing takes place over 4 hours, and the narrator thinks regretfull thoughts about the breakup. "then again, your always first, when nonone's on your side" i think means that now that you're alone, you're by yourself emotionally, feel insecure and can go through life as an individual. when the phone rings in the song, it just adds to the narrator's want to be with their former companion again. there is a wish and strong need to be with them again. he misses them... |
