not only is this catchy, but u can identify with the lyrics too. what a great combo!
to me, its about how that person makes u feel whole and happy, even though u find yourself doing things u normally wouldnt do because its what they want. and without them u feel incomplete and need them to function properly, without them you dont feel youre much. |

i downloaded this song to an anime music video for my ex (i dont like anime...however, i love rock music), so thanks to me we both got to hear this song
i guess hed say it summed us up pretty well, with me being a paranoid gf who nagged. i can appreciate the great tune, but to me the lyrics is about how often in relationships men tend to sit back and they dont fulfill womens emotional needs. its that whole men are from mars, women are from venus thing, how the sexes dont understand each other, and how frustrating it is. it isnt hell, most relationships are liek that...i think its kind of a childish view of an adult situation, where u want everything to go right, otherwise u see it as "something wrong with my partner, maybe another one would be better", and relationships arent all pink fluffy clouds. in the song, the guy does things (almost boasts about them) that he knows piss his gf off, and she gets pissed off. but they dont sort them out, they just carry on the way they are, annoying each other. |

the meaning i get from the song is the girl going away to college and getting caught up in what it takes to be "cool"...she drinks, gets stoned and tries to get laid cos its considered cool by the majority. she has the sort of friends where "beng cool" and doing "cool things" matters, not who the person is inside. her old friends who accepted her as she was without all the pretence she's cut off, in order to fit in with her new 'friends'. but everything about her now is fake, and thats why "shes gonna break" - shes pretending to be someone she isnt, and cant keep it up much longer. |
