Drops of Jupiter is actually slang for having diarrhea while in the middle of an intense acid trip. I'm serious too. If you don't believe me google it. |

I think this song is about corporate promotion and perpetuation of our current financially based hierarchal structure of society. And I think the peek-a-boo and "look at the fuckin' sky!" dance moves are so fresh that i'm going to find a toddler and shit on it. |

"omg!!!1 i cant beleive nobody has commented on this song LOL" and all that jazz. This is truly a magnifabulous song referring to the family of Jimmy Haha or whomever. It may be a conflict within the family, or the loss of a family member, but the images definitely evoke childhood memories, and proving onesself to family members and escaping a possibly bad financial situation. Maybe. An excellent song. A subpar analysis. |

| Queens of the Stone Age – The Bronze Lyrics

Does this song scream morning wood and masturbation to anybody else? It looks like Bloodytea knew where it was going. There's two things I can think of that consistently rise in the morning, and I don't think he wants people to take the sun off of his hands and do him a favor. He's been holding back so long. Fingerfucked. Busted up doesn't mean too much to me however. And then all that highway stuff is lost on me too. Its like the song is about idleness in general perhaps, and getting bored. In conclusion, nobody gives a fuck because its a great song that doesn't need to be analyzed to be appreciated. Hooray for music! |

| Queens of the Stone Age – Give The Mule What He Wants Lyrics

Drug mules, definitely. Crazy ass drug mules are known to ingest drugs within something in order to shit them out. Gotta sink it, make em think its too late: So the Coast Guard catches said mule... sink the boat, make them think they're too late. And the iffy grammar of it all leads reminds me of somebody doing a hispanic impression. Yeah I went there. Besides, drug mules have been known to fasten shipments to buoys that stay underwater for a certain amount of time (one day?) and then rise to the surface for convenient pickup. Josh or whoever may be narrating is hoping the mule will accomplish his mission. |

| Radiohead – Idioteque Lyrics

Funny. Radiohead admits to drug use. For OK Computer at least. And if you've ever stepped outside the confines of reality on certain substances you'd know that rather than hindering the creation of complex music, certain drugs open the creative floodgates. It's not an insult to the band either to suggest that they take drugs. AND, Ed O'Brien is a self-proclaimed hippie and lover of marijuana, so don't feel too alienated that one of the members is a *gasp*, hippie, relephora. I agree with the rest though. |

I can't even begin to interpret the lyrics, but I liken the notion of going "through a park in a haze" to some drug-addled adventure. Long live QOTSA. |

I've always felt that this song was specifically about the downers in the world of drugs... painkillers, valium, that sort of thing. It sounds like he prefers to have his mind blown and make him "lazy", rather than get "up" on something else, like speed or coke. For those long hard days where the boredom is overwhelming, it's the only way to do it. Who knows, I don't, it's just my interpretation. What a delicious song. |

| Queens of the Stone Age – You Can't Quit Me Baby Lyrics

I agree with many of the comments, but the way I see it, the song ends with death. The guitar parts are arranged so that the lead riffs spiral into disarray... SO... the way I see it, after he cuts his wrists, the guitars symbolize his consciousness and/or failing strength, so as he slowly dies they become more urgent and confused, until random notes are being struck and a final burst signals the ultimate death of the character in question. Beautiful. Joshua Homme is a genius. |
