| Atreyu – My Sanity on the Funeral Pyre Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think this song is about a man trying so hard to make things how he wants but only finding failure in his attempts. It seems like everything he tries to do only makes things worse. He finds that when he just lets everything go how it will go, he is free from the struggle of perfecting something that will never be perfect. | |
| Bad Religion – Los Angeles Is Burning Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Probably a metaphor between the effect of the media blowing things out of proportion and the actual Santa Ana winds that flow from the desert and over the mountains behind L.A. The dry heavy winds that create near-explosive fuel for wildfires and fuel existing ones to spread 200%+ in a week | |

"I think this song refers to a girl that he loved who was having an affair, possible with someone who was also his friend. "I just didn't want to know" "Ignore the smoke and smile" He may have known something wish fishy, veiled in "smoke" but choose to ignore it. "Mistook their nods for an approval" This is my biggest hint for the affair, rather than a drug addiction or suicide, which are also good theories. He may have seen the two together, saw them "nodding" at each other, and thought it was just being friendly while they were actually nodding to affirm what they may had been doing the night before. As for the turning blue part, I have no doubt that she's dying or dead. He himself may have killed her when he finally came to realize what was going on. " He strangled her and stared at her while she turned blue. "Such a lovely color for you" implies he is going this with some form of pleasure. Probably all wrong, just funny to think about. |

| The beginning to this song is sick. | |
| Junction 18 – June And The Ocean Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Has anyone noticed that the first three songs start pretty much the same way? Listen to just the beginnings consecutively. Other then that J18 is one of my favorite bands of all time, and being from Boston ~ rightfully so | |
