This is probably my favorite song lyrically. I think he's just saying he's unsure about his future. And everyone is telling him to "prove himself" and he says I don't have to prove myself by saying "You'll have to prove it to me". I love this because this is how A LOT of teens feel. |

I don't think they sound alike if you played them side by side. Fall Out Boy's lyrics are said faster in that part that TBS's. But the lyrics are similar, and the fact that the voice has a peak and then goes back down. I love how they named the CD after |

I think it's about a break-up of some sort. He's deeply scarred on the inside, but she acts like nothing's wrong and that hurts him more to see that she doesn't care. I think their friends broke them up with lies.. "loaded words, and loaded friends/are loaded guns to our heads." I can never figure out the pick up truck part though. I'd have to go with her having a boyfriend but not wanting him to know, so she has him park in her neighbor's drive way. That's a total guess though. He tries to avoid her, but in the end, he just can't, because he's outside her window throwing pebbles to get her back. But this song is definitely confusing. |

fobpunch, they actually say "what you do on your own time's just fine/my imagination's much worse/i just never want to know". This guy ruben is not very good at submitting lyrics, he got parts of "Tell That Mick He Just Made My List Of Things To Do Today" wrong too. |
