Oldskool, you're awesome for name-dropping Journey in your post about 'real rock.' I love Journey as much as the next guy, but you can't tell me that Journey isn't as much or more 'emo' as any band out there today. Have you ever even looked at their lyrics? Journey is cry-baby geek rock, and I love it. But don't put Journey in the same league as Zepellin or Rush. By the way, Brand New's next album is going to be f'ing huge. |
