I agree with "HandicappedJesus" - that part of the song made me cry the first time I heard it, because I had been through an eating disorder and it was beautiful, to me, that someone recognized the problems society can place on people and were vocal about it. Amazing. Obviously, this song is about people doing things to themselves that are horrible for them and slowly killing them (Smoking, starving yourself/making yourself throw up, etc) even though that maybe they shouldn't be doing them, but they can't control it, or don't want to stop. "There's a sick little suicide in all that we do/You decide: Which one's for you" - saying that everything has it's downsides.. and how you choose to do certain things can greatly impact your life and destroy it. Definitely a great piece of artistic musical work. |

This song is a satirical approach on the girls that go to their shows and constantly say things like, "OMG SHAWN I WANT YOU SO BADLYOMGOMG.. by the way, I'm only 13!" The girls really annoy the guys in the band.. in that they really hate them, but there are many bands out there who will go and have 'relations' with the groupies if they say they're 18. So, like I said: Satirical approach to it all. |

| This song *is* about going to a show. Shawn (the lead singer) said that throughout high school, he felt a little out of place.. and going to the local shows (few and far between as they were) really made him feel like home. Like he could be himself.. and just let the bullshit from the week slip away from him. And that's what this song is about because he's had many people tell him the same things about going to shows. | |
