I second manprettys panties, I just got back (literally minutes ago) from their concert and they played this song. before he sung it he told the story about how he broke up with his girlfriend and like two weeks later his friend came up to him and told him how good his ex looked so he said the next two days he just sat in his house drinking and wrote this song. |

the best thing about this song is that i'm from Stillwater, Oklahoma (where Tyson and Nick are from, actually Nick gave me guitar lessons for like two years), and riding around in my car at night listening to this song or walking through my high school halls I can picture Tyson doing the same thing and this song is just developing in his head, its so real. |

in the verse where he is telling the girl all the things she is , is it just me or does the line "Pale white like the skin stretched over your bones." sound like "How I like the skin stretched over your bones"? I'm sure the lyrics are correct but when i listen to it i like to think thats what he's saying cuz thats such a beautiful line |

sweet jane: prom night has come to traditionally be one of the last big "parties" for seniors in high school and most kids go all out on prom night cuz they realize its one of the last nights they have with their highschool friends and with their girl before they have to move on in life, and also the fact that many people lose their virginity on prom night...i think that is why prom night is so important to some people |

dutch angel moi: i dissagree..dont take that offensive just trying to discuss. high school IS important and is incredibly significant. maybe not the actual school as in doing homework and getting up and going to school, but the process of growing up and experiencing the different things of highschool. in this song, sleeping in after prom is just another experience of highschool that you can look back on. life's so short that every stage of your life is SO important and you should enjoy everything about it cuz you'll never again get to sleep in after prom night... maybe i'm wrong but thats the way i view it |
