Dead Can Dance – The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove Lyrics 21 years ago
I could be totally wrong, but the more I listen to this song, the more I understand that Brendan is putting his foot down and saying good-bye to an abusive, unfulfilling relationship -- his ex-paramour is a deceitful liar whom he has apparantly forgiven over and over again, but no more! "I don't believe you anymore..." And towards the end, in so many words, he's letting the bytch know that she lost a good thing...good-bye!

Todd Rundgren – Love Is The Answer Lyrics 21 years ago
This song is my ANTHEM! The way I see it, Todd is a soldier of fortune, looking for true love and peace in a world that's seriously lacking in both. The part where he sings about how lonely this world is, and how we're all just homeless boys and girls...rings so true! Very profound song...down to the rousing chorus of the last stanza.

The Doors – Wishful Sinful Lyrics 21 years ago
Oh God! I heard this song on the radio this morning. JM was so dreamy, and I can't help but to imagine the state of mind he was in when he sung these lyrics - like he was in a beautiful place in his mind, tripping out on something lovely and blurry.

Billy Idol – Hot In The City Lyrics 21 years ago
I was a young and innocent pre-teen, watching Solid Gold (yes...that long ago!!!) when Billy Idol performed this song. I fell instantly in lust with the snarling, barechested Brit with the spikey bleach blonde hair. Ah...memories!!!

The Cure – Lovesong Lyrics 21 years ago
Lovesong is my alltime favorite song from The Cure. Robert Smith's beautiful, melancholy voice and lyrics have always struck a chord within me, and carried me through - and continues to carry me through - very difficult times. How can lyrics so sad and melancholy be so joyous and uplifting at the same time?
