im trying to make you realise that america isnt held in very high regard around the world. politicians might not agree but whose gunna say that kinda thing to bush? americans have no morality above anyone else in the world. the 'huge economy' the us has is artificial because of the high debt. if taxes didnt exist the distribution of wealth would be something like 99.99% for 0.01% of the population in the longrun. if you wanna know what that creates read anything by a K.Marx. you also wouldnt have roading, public transport, cheaper healthcare etc im not saying its not fair for iraq to have a democracy. im saying that its unfair for america to decide iraq should have a democracy. after all, wasnt the reason for invading iraq to find WOMD? would america invade an isolated totalitarian state who had no resources, such as oil, to spread democracy? come on! i thought you woulda learnt after Vietnam/Korea that some people are quite happy to resist democracy. i dont know if iraqis want democracy but america knows no better. oh and by the way you just implied iraqis are terrorists...thats racist my friend. "would it be ok for THEM to come and kill us" youre taking steps of preemption, maybe. but if you are its the american way, not the iraqi. |

dude the reason bush cut taxes was so people would spend. by keeping taxes down the US will run fiscal deficits which leads to debt. greenspan said the fiscal deficit was $375,000,000,000 in 2003. im pretty sure that aint good news.the way out....raise taxes. the reason why no-one understands the iraqi govt wants america's help?? its because its not an iraqi govt. how can men picked by the US represent iraqis used to saddam hussein? imagine if some guy with a gun came into your house, killed your dad and said 'this is how we're gunna do things for now.' thats why there is opposition in iraq to the 'democratic' govt- the iraqi people didnt pick the men in it. according to your profile thing you're 16 years old. did you make your own mind up on all these things? cus you dont seem to like spending on public schools (im guessing you go private). by that you imply poorer people dont deserve the same schooling as you. sounds like you're a) saying whatever mum/dad is saying or b) gotta lot to learn about fairness. oh and by the way- do you seriously think christianity adds ANYTHING to the world? its just a concept. if you think it does, prove to me how. settle down fellas =p im not gunna say who was right/wrong in going to war, you obviously got yo own opinion. but how about that? whats the use in convincing someone else your opinion is right? isnt america 'the land of the free?' over here in little old nz it seems like george bush used the fear of terrorism to win the election, but maybe that was a good thing. a strong leader is needed in wartime. but i dont think the economy is looking too flash...in fact our economics teacher says bush has one of the worst american economies in a long time. (before you call my eco teacher a commie you should learn where he's from.......believe it or not Texas). tax cuts were the way to go after 9/11 to get things moving again. but to keep taxes down means the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, but i suppose thats not a bad thing for republicans?? i think you'll find that 'steady 4% growth' RHCPROX is due to the massive AD shift to accomodate all them guns, tanks and whatever are being used in iraq/afghanistan. if thats not the case hows inflation doing? one thing to remember: thousands of innocent people are being killed in iraq/afghanistan. the whole world saw how america reacted to a malicious attack on its innocents (NYC 2001). how do the families feel in those countries when they lose their relatives? americans are not superior to iraqis, we all breathe the same air. imagine if your wife/husband were killed by an iraqi soldier. me thinks you would not roll over and go to sleep. how would you have reacted if you were Bush on Sept. 11 2001? a lesser man may have brought about armageddon. democrats/repulican who cares?!?!? george bush is your leader. what the US does in the next 4 years will impact the rest of the world. stop ya bitching! | Maybe its about someone screwing up big time ('don't accept the blame') and then hiding away for ages. Lost Prophs are therefore saying that you should get over your mistakes (say 'Hello Again') as opposed to frightening yourself into doing nothing ('you never made it out your vault'). I reckon it ties into the whole album idea of getting of your ass and enjoying life! | |
