yeah its definitely just about a relationship... was with this girl, now that they broke up, hes lost his charge. he is just feeling "meh". cant sleep, and the whole alkaline area of the battery being neutral makes sense. but yes, and the take me to your bed part is the best of the song. its basically just about how he wants to be in her bed(sexually), he loves her so much, and in the official lyrics it says "please say 'i dont mind you under my skin'" so he is looking for her acceptance, and for her to let his bad parts in. whoever said the bad parts = genitals is a dumbass. the bad parts as in he knows that there are things wrong with him, no one is person, but he just wants her to accept him as he is, the good and the bad. best song |

lol at all the people "it got to the printer early!" no brand new, as well as taking back sunday write lyrics in a fashion different than other bands. jesse and adam both sort of write lyrics/random lines/songs with no music then fit them to the music. what you are reading in the official booklet is the way they hit paper, this is the way jesse wrote it originally. what you hear in the song is how he molded it to fit the music. i noticed on the newest TBS album adam didnt seem to write like that tho |
