this song is defintely about heroin. there are two different voices, husband and wife. When he say don't forget to remember me I think it's refering to the way he use to be, or maybe he died and it's from that perspective. There are two verses right in a row from the wives point of view, and that is all. starting at "I know you know how it feels To make a clean break" and ending with "Cause you thought he looked like me" any one see where i'm coming from? |

I would defintely have to agree with what everything said on here. I can really relate to this song more then anything else. I think this song has a general meaning of being let down after being extremely optimistic about anything in general. I get a sense that who ever is being "let down" has never felt this way before because of all the questioning... "So where has all the day gone? And why are my lungs aching when I breathe? Is there something wrong with the heat? Why am I so cold? And my heart feels sick And it hurts when I speak And this is not what I hoped for" I don't know. Just a thought or two. |
