live at java joe's was the best purchase i have ever made in my entire life. soon to be topped by live from the eagle's ballroom- tonight, not again cd/DVD!!!! so now do we not only get to LISTEN to jason a-MRAZ-ing, but we get to WATCH him! perfect for me since the acoustic tour of the curbside prophets was the single most amazing experience ive ever had. a close second was when i discovered jason mraz. pity it wasnt sooner i couldve been one of those ppl all like "ohh i knew him when he WASNT famous".... oh well he rocks my world and always will. oh yeah good song too! my favorite part is where he goes "oh boy" its so cute! ahh he melts me |

jason mraz is a MUSICAL MASTERMIND! hes great. and yeah this song is about the friend who had cancer... i think of it as you know if you have a problem.. dont take it like, so seriously "i wont worry my life away"... its kind of like a cheer up sort of thing i think it was a rly great gesture to write this song for his friend! but what i dont understand... "when i fall in love i take my time theres no need to hurry when im making up my mind" that doesnt fit in with the rest of the theme... neither does the cross-fire part... but its best not to overanalyze jason's songs. hes too creative! but honestly this is one of my all time FAVORITE songs. it recalls memories of summer '03.. things were much simpler then. its such a fun song and it was a fun summer. i had this song on repeat on my stereo CONSTANTLY! my friends would call me and THEY would get sick of the song... me? never! such an awesome song (by the way did anyone happen to catch the acoustic tour of the curbside prophets? jason mraz acoustic was just the greatest thing in the entire world it was amazing!!!) |

this is one of my absolute FAVORITE songs in the WORLD... i had no idea that lifehouse was a christian band, thats totally cool though, so i always thought it was about like, a person. i listened to this song over... and over... and over again this summer... the summer i fell in love with my ex boyfriend . we're going out now... but i listen to this song and it reminds me of the way i felt... the uncertainty and the feeling that i'd give anything to just... idk be with him... like when i was with him we could fall off the edge of the earth and i wouldnt even know... i would go weeks without seeing him and the times we spent together... i would replay them over and over again in my mind... i was "hanging by a moment"... idk this song has such a strong meaning for me... always has. even if it was intended to be about god (which makes much more sense) it'll always be about a guy for me |
