I think, although this song stats off sad, the "take the pieces and build them skywards" line seems to say he's ready to move on - he's finally coming to terms with his mother's death. So I'd say it ends a happy song. Maybe. |

This song is indeed amazing, makes me feel all warm inside every time I hear the 'I don't believe there's love anymore...' bit.
The songs '27' and '57' are named after common numbers that kept appearing around the time they were written...or so I've heard :) |
