| Moby – Spiders Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think the correct lyrics are here - http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/moby/spiders.html Also, I'm fairly certain this is a spiritual song. We are "us spiders" and he is asking for God to come back and "let peace and beauty reign/like you can" . I do like the thought of us being spiders... not too cozy, and seemingly worthless. It fits as a metaphor. Just my two cents though. |

| Mae – All Deliberate Speed Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
These lines are so sad. In these four lines, MAE explains our broken relationship with God. It's like, he made us, and then we just walk off... "You said you made us in the middle of the afternoon while we said we're frusterated. But you tried to take us. "Go on, get ready, cause it's coming soon" you said. Well no thanks, we'll make it. " |

| Coheed and Cambria – Welcome Home Lyrics | 20 years ago |

Edit the lyrics (I'm reading these from the cd slip) You choked off the surest of favors But if you really loved me You would've endured my world Well your just as i presumed A whore in sheep's clothing F*ing up all i do And if it's here we stop Then never again Will you see this in your life? ... Here laid to rest is our love ever longed? With truth on the shores of compassion You seem to make premise to all of these songs ... As jesus played later ... The stone for the curse you have blamed me My love and devotion I'll die as you sleep If you could just write me out To neverless wonder.. happy will i become Be true that this is no option, So with sin i condemn you DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Hope that helps some peeps |

| Coheed and Cambria – The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This cd has a lot of double meanings with writing the story. So, the "final cut" could be a good closing song as if he was ending a recording sessoin. See the relationship a little? | |
| Switchfoot – The Blues Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
This song really sneaks up on you. If you really follow the lyrics, they fit perfectly with the music. Also, the nice subtle crescendo through the whole thing makes it seem more "epic." Also, the title adds so much to the meaning... but the awesome part is that when you listen to it, it still seems hopeful. Switchfoot's really good with hopeful songs. |

| Modest Mouse – Ocean Breathes Salty Lyrics | 21 years ago |

contrary to about everyone, i think that they are saying NOT to waste your life... this line is similar to chrisitanity: "Your body may be gone, I’m gonna carry you in. In my head, in my heart, in my soul. And maybe we’ll get lucky and we’ll both live again." accepting christ into your soul etc etc... then, the boy or whoever replies "i don't know... don't think so." then, "you wasted life why wouldn't you waste death?" is saying that people who don't do anything and waste their lives away WILL waste death and go to hell. then, with the end of time stuff, it's saying that you'll miss the rapture [you missed] when the earth folded in on itself" [ you missed] when the ocean met the sky" one more thing, when he gets out of jail, he has to "think awhile" on christ. and lastly, the "well that is that and this is this" is proving that time WILL end, the rapture will come and it's final. that is that. it's over.... final. |

| Yellowcard – Believe Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I just thought this was a christian-ish song. then, when i realized it was 9/11, it all made sense. "climbing higher... time was running out.... never knowing you weren't going to be coming down alive....but you still came back for ME.....hearing voices calling out..." Also, it's "Believe" and i'm positive it's "wanna make a change right here right now." also, if the violinist was in the tower, i can easily see how yellowcard would want to make an awesome song about his experience. amazing. |

| Radiohead – A Wolf at the Door (It Girl. Rag Doll) Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
i think this song is'nt really a linear message. I think it's just showing the hypocrisy and evilness of the world. the evilness is obvious throughout the song and little bits of hypocrisy like "singin i miss you" before beating someone up or the references to stepford wives and "cold wives" as in having affairs. also, the chorus is about more evil and hypocrisy. "i keep the wolf from the door" is saying that the speaker is just trying to protect his house/family and he receives threats "but he calls me up calls me on the phone tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up" and that he'll "steal all my children if i don't pay the ransom" and once kidnapped he adds "but i'll never see him again if i squeal to the cops" the point that the band is trying to convey is that this world is ****ed up pretty bad.... and they leave it at that. |

| Coheed and Cambria – A Favor House Atlantic Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
i think that this isn't a love song... someone way up at the top,s0f, had a good thought. If claudio IS saving this nikki girl from Al, that would explain almost everything. One thing though, i think the bye bye beautiful means two things in different parts of the song. in the beginning, it could be Al saying to himself "Bye bye beautiful" while shooting at the white girl. Then, after they escape, (this is where s0f's idea comes in to play), claudio is saying bye bye beautiful (seeya) dont bother to write (because I'm) disturbed by your words (about her rape by Al) and they're calling all cars (Al is still searching for them) face step, let down face step, step down (a way out of the place they are resting after their escape) mind you, this is only based off my own opinions and a few facts from coheedandcambria.com, so take it lightly... btw does anyone know what velorium means? did claudio just make it up? |

| Coheed and Cambria – In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 Lyrics | 21 years ago |

If the student are below, somewhere in the floor. Maybe Jesse (narrator in song) knows that they are losing so he tells the men to "man your own jackhammer" to free the children so they can escape or maybe to stop Coheed/Will/Monstar from getting to them by trapping them. Or, it could be something else.. another treasure or something... you would need a jackhammer to get a "secret from the earth" (beneath the earth's surface) |
