| Nine Inch Nails – Every Day Is Exactly the Same Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I wonder maybe if this song is about being in prison? Multiple times he refers to a location. "There is no love here." "Sometimes I think I'm happy here." Also, later in the song he talks about leaving a note behind something to hide it. If this song has to do with daily routines like people say, then what is that about? |

| Nine Inch Nails – Metal Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I doubt this is supposed to be about the world all being metal. Otherwise, who the would he be talking to about being a man? He wouldn't know what a "man" is. I really don't know what the song means. I'm not even going to take a stab at it because I'm sure it would be the wrong idea. | |
| Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I have heard different references to different interviews with Mercury that seem to have different meanings to this song. Strange. Anyways, I think the idea of a kid being drafted for a war he doesn't want to be a part of is what fits best with the song. I havn't read 'The Stranger' so I can't back you up on that. | |
| The Mars Volta – This Apparatus Must Be Unearthed Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| After reading some I kind of thought of something. Possibly Cerpin Taxt is a representation of the giving and caring god. And Moatilliatta is a representation of a vengful and powerful god. | |

I don't know how much this has to do with the actual story that is told. To me the lyrics makes me think Moatilliatta is death or tragedy. It reminds me of a Twighlight Zone episode of this old woman who became secluded in her house because she knew if she went outside, that death would get her in some way, shape, or form. Its like death is hiding around every corner, but in disguise. Some stuff that might support that is: "Can you cure us of this fate?" "Prefect, dictate your final words." "And now it won't be long." I don't know if I am correct. Its just an idea I had since I havn't really seen any shots at explaining this song. |

| The Faint – Amorous in Bauhaus Fashion Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Good song. To me it sounds like someone that is too shy to tell someone how they feel about them. | |
| Built to Spill – Twin Falls Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This songs is one of my favorite songs ever made. And its a shame Built To Spill has never gotten credit for such a beautiful song. It is a really sad song, as mentioned before. In my opinion this song has a lot to do with a feeling that he wishes he could be child again when things were so simple. | |
| The Faint – Take Me to the Hospital Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I thought about it more and maybe it is about drugs or drinking and he is saying he would still do it again. | |
| Ben Folds Five – Brick Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I know it has already been established about a abortion or a teen pregnancy. I have faced a similar situation. And this song really captures a lot emotion that is involved. I have never felt more lonely or empty inside in my life. This song really depicts how it feels. |

| The only thing I can think of is skateboarding because he talks about it being an accident and then he says he has no regrets, and he wants to do it again. | |
| The Faint – Glass Danse Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I think it pretty much is talking about the pathetic lifestyle of the club life. | |

| The Faint – Casual Sex Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I think the dream might have more to do with this possibly. He talks about his friend, who is the soldier, being dead. Its very strange that immediatly after he talks about going to the morgue to see his friend he starts talking about thoughts of casual sex. This might have something to do with how his dream makes him feel. For people that remember a lot of their dreams can relate to having feelings that don't exactly relate to the dream you are having. Maybe this song was written because of a dream he actually had. |

| The Birthday Massacre – Happy Birthday Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I really like this song. It gave off a strange feeling to it, especially the part about her friend chasing her to her room. Its obviously about a girl and her friend killing everyone on her friend's birthday. Atleast that is the way it seems. They call it a 'birthday massacre' and later in the song she calls him 'birthday boy'. One thing that I thought was clever is that she talked about being in a black and white dress in the beginning and when she talks about being chased, it is black and red. Because she had killed the guests. |

| In Flames – Touch Of Red Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
This song is about suicide. And depression. "I fear there's a way out" I think its about depression because the lyrics sounds like he restricts himself. And the fact he asks if he is just different. "Self control- forcing me down" "Is anybody out there like me?" I'm surprised there are not any comments on this song. I think it is a pretty good song. |

| In Flames – Only For The Weak Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I think this song is about a relationship for sure. A lot of the lyrics suggest that it is about a relation ship that he lost interest in but lies about it. For the sake of having someone possibly. | |
| The Rapture – Olio Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Good song. For anyone reading this. This is a must hear from The Rapture, the synth version of the song is much better than the instrumental version. That is my opinion though. It just gives it a deeper feeling if you ask me. | |
| The Dresden Dolls – Bad Habit Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Why ask why? They are not a huge band. I hope they get bigger though, because I would like to hear new stuff from them. I found out about this band from Mindless Self Indulgence's concerts. They were a band that played with them. | |
| The Dresden Dolls – Mandy Goes to Med School Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This is about back alley abortions and what seems to be someone that is willing to do it that goes to med school. | |
