Am I the only one who believes this song is sort of creepy? I mean it sounds kind of desperate. He is asking for a return on the feelings he has for this person, but this person does not share his feelings. He seems not to accept this which to me can be dangerous. I mean unfortunately you cannot have everything you want in life. To me it is just too pessimistic.

Don't just write a band off just because of ONE song. One song does not really mean anything, and so what if other people start liking them. They are superficial fans of music, the will like whatever is "big" at the time and forget about it the next second. So I wouldn't worry to much about those people. At least Avenged has not become some kind of rap group. They will no doubt sound different from album to album, but so long as they don't start rapping or singing country tunes in their music I am sure it will be okay.

System is great regardless if you agree with them or not. Personally I do not agree with this song, but that does not matter. While I have heard many songs that tackle this same issue and while it does get redundant at times leave it to System has a way to make it better. I really agree with what the piece has to say. Everyone should educate themselves and take a stance based on their values and beliefs. Just because some famous people say it does not mean they are right. Regardless System Rocks!!!

Forgive me if it already has been mentioned in the post, but I saw a lot of posts referring to the \"eating seeds\" part as drugs or something to do with environment. As funny as this sounds when they seeds \"eating seeds as a past time activity\" it means exactly that. How do I know this? I am Armenian and I know that we Armenians will just eat seeds wherever and whenever, and it becomes like an actual activity. We will also get piles of shells like that in the video. Its a cultural thing

As far as quiff goes at the expense of sounding cliche opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. Therefore, people like quiff who come on these boards and bash the bands are just to be ignored because they are just asking for attention. The best thing to do as aforemetioned is to ignore the person. That is what makes our country so great. We can have beliefs that don't agree with everyone else, and not get killed for it. So that is about it. And by the way I am a 20 year old male who listens to HIM just to disprove the stereotype earlier. Oh and this song is great :)

System of a Down – Streamline Lyrics

Anyone who knows System knows that they are an Armenian-American band. And this song has nothing to do with girlfriends. I am sorry but they deserve more credit than that. There songs have a lot more substance than that. What this song is actually about is the Armenian Genocide, which not many people know about. It occurred during the first world war, and what Serj is saying is that he couldn't be there for his people during this tragic event. He was not there to say goodbye to all of those people.
