This is a good song... it's the only post aeroplane song in circulation... I was jus really reading the lyrics and I think it might have to do with the apprehension you get before you ask a girl out, to marry you, to sleep with you.... one of those. I get that from the bucket full of fear and the "painting scenes of time with you" So anyway, go download this song. Peace. |

This is a good song. The line "I saw a rich fuck giving charity" is pretty powerful. Well it struck me as being so. Its ashame he's gone. He made some damn fine music and I would've loved to see him in concert, but the real loss is the artistic one, and judging by what I hear on the radio we won't have someone else this good for a long time. Oh, and I think the song is about someone with low self esteem trying to get the courage to do something but being supressed by the things he sees out there so he falls into a stupor.... okay well this version is horrible, let me get that out of the way. They shouldnt even be singing this and adding extra crap in there is close to sacrilige... the meanings given here are wrong thought id point that out to.... oh and you cant compare this to dylan or hendrix, cause dylan wrote it and he gave it to hendrix to cover it and hendrix did the best job that can be done with it... great well im done |

good song... de stijil is my favorite stripes album... obvious meaning... on the subject of whirlwind heat though, there horrible. i saw em open for the stripes at the tweeter center and insults were being thrown at them... ppl started cheering and yelling 'thank God' when they announces there were only 3 songs left in there set... |
