Potentially my favorite Guster song, rivaled by "What You Wish For" and "Demons". One great thing about Guster's songs is that they can be difficult to decipher, and this one is no exception. I think the Anne Frank idea is solid, but on a more basic level I think it's about being unsure of the future and wanting everything to synthesize--be organized. The best part of the song is it's structure, the way the verses and music is set up. Yeah. |
