i agree with puddle... the song also makes me think maybe they feel powerless to be a friend. It's so hard to maintain any kind of relationship when you're gone all of the time. It almost sounds like an apology to all of the people they had to say goodbye to, and are having trouble staying in touch with... i dunno, just an add on. i think christian bands that turn a little more secular are actually more clever than those that stay hardcore christian... I mean, hxc christian bands are great for the christians, but isn't it all about evangelism? sometimes you must become like the the people in order to win them over... |

| I think its about a girl he likes that isn't a christian. He keeps going through things in his mind and re-analyzing them over and over trhying to justify being able to date her. I think he's referring to the verse about being unequally yolked when he mentions "don't touch teh positive.... left alone inthe dark" because although you might get along well at first, eventually such a relationship will simply make you empty... anyway, that's what i think.. it kinda hit me once driving home. | |
