this song totally relates to how i feel about someone i care deeply about. we live a few states away and i feel like it's all about how we have to continue on, living our lives "i wanna be with you forever, if tomorrow's not too late, but its always too late when you've got nothing, so you say" ..to me that describes how we can't seem to get through our normal lives without one another, we try and convince the other that in fact we each have a lot, people who care about us, "you can't see the hands upheld to catch you"...and how we keep telling one another to look for the opportunity around us at home because we want each other to be happy "don't you ever let the sun set on tomorrow, before the sun rises today". and the chorus about if i'm the one to, basically, destroy your dreams/life, then i've let you down because that's not what love is about, its about making each other happy. and lastly, despite our feelings we can't make promises that we can't keep, can't know what the future holds and really can't do anything to help our situation. just let each other know how we feel which is described in the last line. |

so good! to me its saying that life isn't as complicated as we all find it to be, that if we perceive it the right way, all of a sudden EVERYTHING changes and you appreciate the beauty that surrounds you. i think its a "life is good" and "love is all you need" song. |

intense song. not sure i fully understand it, but i relate to the "i can't be alone, so don't you dare leave me, its like coming home to a skin that has died, human voices like a drum and they're looking right through me" ...except for that's probably referring to drug use which i'm not |
