im going ot give 2 descriptions one from my point of veiw and one veiw from a person i know who loves tool mine: i obvioously think its about smoking " drives in your mind hits your blindside" maybe the withdrawls from it. friends: he listens to alot of tool and so he thinks this one is about failing to breath correctly since the fall of atlantis we stopped breathing prana ( hindu for live force energy) "accent shallow" we breath more shallow than what we used to i guess "what you might want theyll take it away" maybe thats refrencing to the government not teaching you how we used to correctly breath. and hiding that information. |

its about 2012 and getting rid of your ego 2012 is predicted to be the pole shift on the earth around every 13,0000 years this happens. and this will be our ascension for some of us into the next dimension where we will gain christ conciousness. analysis: "fret for your..." the fret for your lines obviously talk about ego especially fret for your car. lots of people feel better if they drive better things own more expensive things. we need to learn we are all one and are made with what we need we dont need materials and they definatly do not determine who we are. well first of all let me tell you that im not really a maynard fan but my friends listen to him or id consider them friends anyway... i personally think its about someone who started off listening to a stranger and enojoyed the things they said about different dimensions and the like since maynard is into all that new age stuff " and i listen for the whisper of your sweet insanity." lots of people would consider new age stuff quite that, insane .... so basically the song i think and i have related it to my personal experience. is about a person who has met a stranger and was affected by their speeches and talks about new age theories. now i will go into analysis beotches... "cast the calming apple up and over sattelites to draw out the wild timid one" i personally think that has to do with finding yourself interconnected with everything else henceforth being wild. and getting past the sattelites ( man made things ) if youve ever seen the sober ( i think it was sober video by tool) video theres a spaceman nailing down wood creating a closed off space which i would relate to this.. think about it. i already explained the " i listen for the whisper..." next off is " youre a stranger so what do i care " i beleive from the person maynard is singing about he is thinking why should i beleive this you are a stranger people i know have told me so much different about the reality i live in. " why wont you move away you fucking tornado im better off without tearing my will down" is clearly showing the struggle to beleive the insane shit that the "stranger" is telling maynard. he doesnt want his actions or thoughts ( will) to be determined by these "lies" hes hearing.. |
