this song as i recently heard on xfm.. is about el capitan in california.. it is the largest free standing cliff face in north america and it is a place where alot of people killed themselves.. and he talks about it being a glamourous death... and talking about the person who is bringing themselves up to face this cliff and the build up to there jump off.. its along those lines |

i dont think this song is targetted at stuart, i think its more about his girlfriend, or about a girlfriend.. i think this song he is reminiscing about the whole relationship and talking about its good things, but now its over he doesnt quite know what to do with himself.. "i dont know where we are going now" and thinking about if they'll remain friends and talk still.. he also is telling them how much they actually meant to him "you made me feel like the one"..
or maybe its about something completely different,,,
but yes "so take a look at me now" since i told you its over.. maybe its a kinda add on to that song like maybe its about that same relationship and this song is just a add on to the story behind the first song |

i have to agree with you.. the lyrics to this song are so strong.. some lines are just so powerful..
"do you remember the forgotten america.. justice, equality, freedom to every race"
and

this is a fantastic song such a simple sound but so so powerful one of the best songs i heard all year |

pretty honoured to put the first mention on this song.. i think its a great track from these guys, and im sure they will do well as a band.. but this song i dunno has a great sound to it, anthematic, it strangely i know will now always remind me of winter.. i dunno music does this to me, reminds me of times in my life... and this is my winter 04 song i just know it.. i am addicted and spent the day walking about glasgow when its -0.5degrees listening to these guys, what a song! peace |

a great song, a great new album... i must admit i was at first a bit unsure of the album but i think it makes great walkman music... sounds so good when your walking down the main street in your town, for me buchannon street in glasgow.. i dunno i love listening to music as i walk about people watching lol... weird, im not a mad stalker.. just trying to get from A to B, with music and looking at passers by wondering how interesting there life may be, or may not... anyway sorry im ranting.. great song love the chorus |

this is the second song on the new record that really stood out to me, along with "atrocity" i dunno what it is about this song i like the prolonged intro to the tune and i think the lyric "its alright to hide away underneath the ocean" as sometimes we all just feel like we could get away for just one moment and the ocean seems like such a peaceful place and all... :s but i really do like this song its a classic biffy song, one that you can jus imagine everyone singing along to word for word |

this song is pretty nice, when i hear it it reminds of good and bad love all at once, i think thats what its getting at.. "I decided long ago, I was gonna be with you" and then "All of the pain you've caused me, And I never want you" but my favourite lyric is "you live for the weekend and i live forever" i dunno why i think its nice.. but like any music song i think what moves you most in this is his vocals and its the riffs all over the place, makes you just wanna jump off your seat and dance your heart out... this is what the music have the no one else do, this is why there soo good! |

open your mind, what a fantastic way to end a album.. this song is so emotional if you listen to his voice its somewhat like jesus talking to you, its a really powerful song, its such a positive song aswell making you want to do something with yourself no matter what.. always leaves you with a good feeling! |
