interestingly enough, i have moved on to a different stage, and looking back on some of the comments i made, i seem like an idiot. i couldn't even finish reading some of my comments, simply because of how idiotic they were. i am in my sophomore year, and in a world history class, and we are learning about world war 1 at the moment. we were discussing types of governments, and i brought up anarchism, and several people thought i was an idiot, for i had a very incorrect perspective on anarchism. while there are certain "perks" to anarchism, there are too many flaws. sure, we all choose what we do, but what if i decide i wanna go kill someone, that family suffers, and nothing is done. Anarchy is an interesting "subject," or even a "theory" but the idea of it ever being put into act is just absurd. and as far as the anarchist president, i think it was more of a thing where, someone who supports anarchy gets into power in order to declare anarchy, but thinking on it now, the president only gets to make suggestions, and military decisions, congress would have to suggest it and approve it in order for it to go through. So i apologize for my previous idiocy, a year or so of actually focusing in school and a change of environment has enlightened me. |
