I read on a slipknot site (think it was the official one) a couple years ago that Corey (I think) tried to commit suicide by slitting his wrists and taking a whole bunch of pills while laying in a bathtub, but somebody found him passed out in the tub and they took him to the hospital and pumped his stomach and stuff. Could be wrong, could be right. |

To go off topic for a second, the line "Live like a teenage Christ" inspired many thoughts in my head. What was Jesus, if he existed, like when he was a teenager? You can't tell me he didn't use his powers for fun. If I had the power to turn water into wine, I'd be wasted all the time. |

I think win he sings "God is just a statistic," he mean that the reason God is so big is because so many people liked it. Every realigion starts as a cult and grows. I'm 100% positive Christianity wasn't a hit the day of conception. |

A dope show used to be a traveling freakshow or something of the like. It could mean that stars today are paraded around like freaks on TV, and we just have to know all about their personal life. And "To swim you have to swollow," abviously refers to a sexual act (I think you can guess which one) and how people get what they want by pleasing others, sexual or not. |

I think the line "we used to love ourselves, we used to love one another" means that we used to accept and love everyone for who they were/are (love thy neighbor) and we used to appreciate our lives and didn't do self-destructive things. |

You should like Manson for his music, not just his appearance. He's not making music for you, he does it for himself. Beside's he'll probably change next CD, he always does, I mean, come on, he covered "Personal Jesus" for his new greatest hits, that's definetly not 1930's depression (1 theme of GAOGT). |
