when i listen to the song, i think of it as a girl who really likes a guy and wants to spend time with him but he's unavailable in pretty much all aspects (emotionally, has a girlfriend, etc). so she's begging to even be just friends. the few times they are together, it's purely physical/sexual, and it makes her more upset. she thinks that he'll feel guilty at some point for overlooking what she has to offer, and that his relationship with the girl he is with will end badly. to each his own :) |
