| Serj Tankian – Honking Antelope Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Quit obviously, this song is about how humans have completely fucked over the Earth, at least for me. Man, this site has gone downhill since I was last here. Above: Tao is pronounced Dao, fool. |

What the hell. These lyrics don't even sound like the song. I've not been able to find any really reliable lyrics online, but it seems to be about a really addictive drug that has a crash. Coke, maybe. |

| The Crüxshadows – Confusion Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think ths song might be about drugs. Meth maybe. The "angel" could be the person, and the "mountain" could be the drugs. Just a guess. | |
| System of a Down – Forest Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I don't know what this song is about, but it certaintly isn't christian unless they have radically changed their viewpoint. Suite-pee is one of the most blatantly anti-christian songs I have ever heard. | |
| System of a Down – I-E-A-I-A-I-O Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Red Rum, that's my meaning exactly. Yay! Someone agrees with me! I don't know what the bubbles erotica part is about either. | |
| System of a Down – I-E-A-I-A-I-O Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Peter's pecker picked another pickle bearing pussy pepper - not sure exactly what it means, but it seems to be some kind of referece to sex. Meeting john at dale's Jr., wink an eye and point a finger - gossip A former cop etc: Either about crime or the media telling you about things that don't really matter Fighting crime - The public doesn't know what's real and what isn't, and they just expect superheroes to do things for them IEAIAIO - this seems to be a chant, like on the fourth of july peole can't think of what's so great about america, so they're just yeling meaningless vowels into the eir - it's almost barbaric. Light up the sky - this is what makes me think it's the fourth of july. See? The verse is about what's wrong with america, and the chorus is sort of about how the people don't care. |

| System of a Down – Fuck The System Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I think this song is parodying themselves. First verse: Makes no sense, they're singing all blibbery, just like in some of the other songs they've done Second verse: Also makes no sense possibly a refeence to some of their songs that look like they were written by a monkey with a typewriter. Also notice the scream at the end - just like a stereotypical SOAD song. Chorus: ANARCHY NOW! YARR! ZING ZAP DINGLE DROP DuOPP! Protestting without any real meaning - just like some system of a down songs. See what I mean? |

| Im Iranian, I think you've got it right on. :) | |
| System of a Down – Sugar Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| its pretty obvious to me this song is about a out of control person, very unstable. he may have a mental illness, he is mean, but he isn't happy, look at the end where Serj screams "in the end it all goes away". | |
| System of a Down – Suite-Pee Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| This is clearly a anti-religion song, how some people get so caught up in religion that they cant think for themselves, etc. etc. I totally agree with the lyrics of this song. | |
| System of a Down – War? Lyrics | 21 years ago |

Its about war, how it can have very dumb reasons, etc. I just realized this song makes amazing fight music. |

| System of a Down – Soil Lyrics | 21 years ago |

"-for those that control the central nervous system, control society, and the world" that is the comment for 'spiders' not ddevil. |

| System of a Down – Suggestions Lyrics | 21 years ago |

Crazywinters comment: -------------------------------- i think abigbobinthewoods had the best description, pretty much exactly what i have. i'll explain it more for those who dont believe me This song is about the government and how they mislead us and those who know this are willing to fight back. Watching, From a post up high, From where you see the ships afar, (The government watches over us all the time) From a well trained eye, The waves all keep on crashing by, If you are the light post, Then you own the working class, (The government basically owns the working class) But if you want the answers, You better give a piece of ass, Give a piece of your ass, (if you want to know the truth, you are going to have to sacrafice something) Warning, Post hypnotic suggestions, Running the ships ashore, (the government is lying to us and basically killing us because of our ignorance) The orange light that follows, Will soon proclaim itself a god, (the orange light is the voice of the government, possibly the president, who likes to think of himself as all powerful) If you point your questions, The fog will surely chew you up, (if you speak against the government you might disapear...) But if you want the answers, You better get ready for the fire, Get ready for the fire, (if you want the answer, get ready for the fire..)(revolt) *This is said from the 'lightpost' * The ships are multiplying day after day sir, And they're coming close to the shore sir, shore sir, (more and more people are beginning to realize what the government is doing, and they are beginning to speak out) We need to evacuate the light post, It's all over, it's all over ~~ It's all over . (Its all over, we know, and we are taking over. if they want to live, they need to get out) thats my line-by-line definition of the song. if you dont agree, who cares. songs are meant to be interpretted differently by different people. and to those who say 'if the author wants to say something why doesnt he just say it?' why? because it takes a lot more skill to write an entire song in metaphor than to just come out and say it ------------------------------ Yes, I think that's exactly it! I couldn't figure out what it was about, but I think that's it! it seems very SOADy anyway, they always have that kind of lyrics. |

| Lamb of God – 11th Hour Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| No it's not about the end of the world, if you watch the music video it's about the iraq war. Read the lyrics with metaphors in kind and you should be able to see the relations. | |
